Project Description:

The town of Winters, located near Vacaville, has welcomed a big addition to its small community.  The once empty lot at 511 Main Street is now home to the new St.Anthony’s Church.  Over the past 13 months Project Manager Gage Chrysler, Superintendent Bob Einck, and Estimator Mike Kelly, have been working on the project.  The 14,925 sq. ft. metal frame has transformed into an old world style, hand-plastered building featuring a stained decorative concrete floor, hand forged chandeliers and door handles, a hand-painted mural of the local Berryessa Gap, and a beautiful stained glass window measuring 5 ft in diameter.  A 461 lb. bell from the former St.Anthony’s Church building is now hanging in the beautiful front plaza. Modern has also remodeled the existing Parish Hall which stands adjacent to the church. The upgrades include a matching exterior to the church, fresh interior paint, new doors, updated bathrooms, and a new gymnasium floor.  The entrance features a beautiful mosaic from broken plates, handcrafted over two years by a local artist.
